ERBENDORF ZESTAW ŚNIADANIOWY POMARAŃCZOWE I NIEBIESKIE STYLIZOWANE KWIATY Piękny zestaw sygnatura 1[zasłonięte]935-19 – wskazuje na to brak złoceń – zdobiony w pomarańczowe i niebieskie stylizowane kwiaty.
Filiżanka o błękitnym brzegu ozdobiona jest dookoła delikatnymi reliefami, powtórzonymi także na uchu i stopce. Piekna jakościowa błyszcząca delikatna cienkościenna porcelana ecru.
Zachowana w świetnym stanie – kolory żywe – jak nowe.
Podstawek bez sygnatury, wykonany z porcelany w kolorze ecru. Na brzegach ozdobiony jest reliefami, które do złudzenia przypominają te z talerzyka i filiżanki. Złocenia na brzegu są jak nowe tak samo jak rosnące obok kwiatki.
Talerz deserowy tak samo jak filiżanka – zapiera dech w piersiach. Wydaje mi się, że ten kwiat opłatkach złożonych z małych kwiatków – zakwitł w wyobraźni artysty- chyba, że przyjmiemy, że jest to suszek Strohblume – stylizowany w manierze art deco…
Bardzo ładne reliefy na brzegu subtelnie podkreśla błękitna farbka.
Na środku znane nam już z filiżanki kwiaty, wyglądają jak żywe dzięki intensywnym kolorom. Cudowne odcienie błękitu i pomarańcz- wyjątkowo piękna kolorystyka.
Talerzyk bez uszczerbień.
Zapraszam do licytacji – zestaw jest bardzo ładny.

Porzellanfabrik Erbendorf G.m.b.H. (1923 until 1940)
The original Erbendorf factory was founded by Hans Schrembs and concentrated on normal household items and a small number of coffee and tea sets. Even if the factory itself was well-equipped Schrembs could not really use its full capacity, mostly because he was missing the required experts for the job. Knowing that the war effort would most probably claim all of his skilled workers he in 1940 decided that it would be better to sell the complete factory, instantly rousing the interest of the Seltmann company which had been looking for an additional factory.

As finding a fair agreement as quickly as possible was what both sides wanted the factory already changed owners the same year. Under Seltmann the factory produced household items and sets, many of which were independent lines only produced in Erbendorf.

Only little information has been found so far. The factory was founded in 1897 and was taken over in 1903 and had mainly concentrated on items like giftware and shaving mugs but also produced small numbers of sets including moustache cups.

Heinrich Winterling born in Rehau (Bavaria) is from the same family as the founders of the Gebrüder Winterling O.H.G. in Röslau (Bavaria). Even if the marks used by the 'Heinrich Winterling G.m.b.H. & Co. K.G.' and the 'Gebrüder Winterling O.H.G.' are very similar sometimes (especially after 1950) these are two independent companies. Specialized very early on coffee and tea sets, giftware, complete dinner sets and had 250 employees in 1913, 400 in 1930 and 600 in 1937. Next to nothing is known about this company; they were trying to set up a complete history at the time I contacted them in 2005 and I was told that many documents had been lost in a fire that destroyed the archive. Latest news from May 15th 2009 stated that it was planned to dismiss all 145 workers and close the factory in Summer 2010 as there was no future for a midrange manufacturer like Winterling in the market, however the company and website already went down in January 2010.
