Z ciekawych funkcji niania posiada VOX, czyli nadawanie tylko wtedy, gdy słyszalny jest głos dziecka (możliwość dezaktywacji tej funkcji), a przy tym także alarm wyjścia z zasięgu.
Posiada 8 kanałów częstotliwości, w każdym 38 subkanałów więc ławo jest uniknąć zakłóceń od innych urządzeń. Dodatkowo moc 500mW pozwala na bezproblemową łączność w dużym domu z ogrodem, niedostępną w większości 'zwykłych' elektronicznych niań posiadających moc nadawania 10mW.
Każde urządzenie zasilane jest z bardzo łatwo dostępnych baterii lub akumulatorów 4xAAA (R3). Osobiście używałem zasilacza przy łóżeczku dziecka i akumulatorów w ruchomej stacji odbiorczej.
Urządzenie jest sprawne. W jednym urządzeniu brak klapki baterii. Baterie się trzymają, ale istnieje możliwość wypadnięcia podczas zabawy, dlatego należy kleić elastyczną taśmą izolacyjną lub dopasować klapkę z innego urządzenia. Stan wizualny na zdjęciach.

Your Babyfon® is distinguished by the following features:
446 MHz/ 500mW transmission power
The use of the new 446 MHz voice FM range eliminates interference from other FM
applications (FM headphones, FM switches or garage door openers). In addition, with
transmission power of max. 500mW a range of up to 1 kilometre can be reached. The
range depends on the nature of the surroundings (buildings, hills) and can therefore
deviate from this figure.
Security coding (CTCSS)
The additional CTCSS coding (subcode) suppresses unwanted information or noise.
Information can only be received if the transmission channel and the subcode match.
This means that up to 38 users can transmit on the same FM channel without
causing interference to one another.
Using the subcode it is possible to call individuals or groups directly.
Acoustic range control
When the acoustic range control is activated you are notified by an alarm tone that
you are leaving the reception range. This alarm tone stops automatically as soon as
you return to the reception range.
Hands-free function
The BM 1000 has a hands-free function (VOX). This VOX function allows you to use
the device as a Babyfon® with a particularly wide range.
Button lock function
The button lock prevents the accidental adjustments to settings and thereby
increases the functional security of the device.
Battery pack charge function
The Maxi BM 1000 is equipped with an integrated battery pack charge function for
the gentle charging of environment-friendly nickel-metal hydride battery packs.
Baby transmitter function
This special BABYFON function switches off the speaker. The baby is therefore not
disturbed by coincidental radio reception.
Energy-saving mode
This function prolongs operating time in battery pack / battery operation without any
impairment to functionality.
Time display with alarm
Variable response sensitivity
In order to ensure optimal adaptation to your everyday life / surrounding noise you can
determine the switch-on threshold of the Babyfon® yourself. Depending on your
individual requirements, the "transmitter" can be activated either by slight noises or from
a higher volume level. Furthermore, the response sensitivity can be varied when using the
additional microphone.
Belt clip / wall mount
The Maxi BM 1000 is fitted with a practical belt clip. Using a screw or a hook you can
also use the belt clip as a practical wall mount.
Battery status indicator
In order to increase the functional efficiency of the Babyfon®, the "Power" lamp begins to
blink and an alarm tone sounds if the battery/battery pack voltage can no longer
guarantee safe operation. This alarm tone can be switched on or off by means of the
user menu.
