An excellent album debut released from these death metal worshipers. Yes, it’s a new band, but the lineup is forged by very experienced people, coming from bands like Ominous Crucifex, Necroccultus, and Supplicium. To me it is clear that they know the business and don’t take any fucking influence from nowhere except from old school, putrid and satanic death metal. Besides the complex name of the band, there hides an huge entity, plenty of rotten stench, and violent power that will chop some heads since the first track. They make some quite narrative and sinister guitar riffs and all are completely supported by a red wall of satanic sound done with aggressive drums.
If I have to choose one track, I’d go for “Leviathan’s Coronation”, which has astonishingly dark vibes released from inner melodies and sonic flagellation. Guitars are the main character in the music, and you know these are low-tuned riffs, violent and labeled with blood. The vocals are another aspect to consider because Rubens walks on the edge of crude and furious death metal and unholy and blasphemous black metal. And he knows how to step into both sides without falling into childish mistakes. The track “Nine Kingdoms” is a perfect example of this and definitely the combination of both vocals fit very well. I also like the way these musicians create a heavy mix between the obscure European school and the technique of the American school.
At the end, this sound is a total massacre and transmits a sorrowful, grim, and unholy aura. As I said before, it’s an excellent debut album and a good choice for those into Mexican extreme metal.
