I'm a sucker for music that fuses jazz and hip-hop. To me, it's innovative, hip, and fun. It can be deep or not but it's always got this funky groove going on with samples from jazz greats. I like the way it plays with ideas, words and notes.....I get the sense that the artists in this collection are game to try anything as long as it sounds good. If you enjoy music that is playful and fun then I highly recommend this cd. The name of the cd alone is a conversation starter!
