The Undersea World of Jacques Cousteau [DVD] (DVD);coming in a double cardboard box filled with four separate plastic dvd boxes, each with four or five discs in each box, this set has the complete episodes of the series. Picture and sound quality are very good, narrator and captain Cousteau himself speaking in English, you can sometimes hear in the background the team speaking in French. The scientific techniques and studies may be a little dated now but they were true pioneers and the crew approach the wildlife and the environment with a sensitivity ahead of their time. There are no booklets and no extras in terms of a bio of Cousteau. TV at its very best, a real gem.
