Schodząc z zakurzonego szlaku w krainie, gdzie wieje złowrogi wiatr i nikt nie jest bezpieczny... THE SILVER OWLS to nowy zespół akordeonistki Scotii Gilroy (Vladimirska) i gitarzysty Teddy Jr., przywołujący do życia duszę starej muzyki country przy pomocy pięcioosobowego zespołu, na którego instrumentarium składają się akordeon, elektryczna i akustyczna gitara, mandolina, banjo, harmonijka oraz skrzypce. Swoją muzykę określają "marzycielsko-kowbojską retro-Americaną".

Od swojego pierwszego koncertu w kwietniu 2013 roku supportowali Bena Caplana (Kanada) i The Dinosaur Truckers (Niemcy) oraz występowali m.in. w ramach Parady Smoków, SLOT Festu, WOŚP, XParty Festival, OFF Plus Camera Festival, Harmonica Bridge Festival i Bluesroads Festival, na tym ostatnim zdobywając nagrodę publiczności.

Z nastawieniem zawsze gorącym od pełni życia, The Silver Owls wypracowało własne, oryginalne brzmienie nawiązujące głęboko do amerykańskiej tradycji, gdzie pieśni oddawały skrajne emocje minionej epoki.

Coming down from a dusty track, from the lands where the wind blows evil and where no one is safe.... THE SILVER OWLS is a new band founded by accordionist Scotia Gilroy (Vladimirska) and guitarist Teddy Jr., bringing to life the soul of old-time country music with a 5-piece band that includes accordion, electric and acoustic guitars, mandolin, banjo, harmonica and fiddle. They call their music "dreamy cowboy retro-Americana."

Since their first concert in April 2013, they've opened for Ben Caplan (Canada) and The Dinosaur Truckers (Germany), and have performed at SLOT Fest, X-Party Festival, Wielka Orkiestra Charity Festival, the Dragon Parade, OFF Plus Camera Festival, Harmonica Bridge Festival and Krakow's Bluesroads Festival, where they won the Audience Choice Award.

With a spirit that is always full of life, fun and fiery energy, the Silver Owls have created a special sound all their own which digs deep into the American past, when songs expressed the raw emotions of the Wild West.
