The »Easy« version is a space-saving POS system with an affordable price tag. It comes with an Intel Celeron M 1 GHz processor with 1 GB RAM (expandable up to 2 GB), together with an intelligent interface package, offering you a professional entry-level device. For most applications, it is not necessary to have high processing power. The Glancetron 8805 Easy gives you professional hardware in combination with a high resale margin.

The Glancetron 8805 Ultimate offers your customers a POS and information system which has yet to meet its match in speed and performance. The Intel i5 mobile processor with 2.4 GHz and 1 GB RAM (expandable up to 8 GB) is the ideal solution for demanding applications. User data, systems and programs will find more than ample space (on both versions) on the 160 GB hard drive. Whether working online or offline, the connection possibilities are impressive thanks to its multiple storage options and wide spectrum of interfaces. Included as standard are 2 RS232, 4 USB ports and 2 PS/2 interfaces, as well as an Ethernet interface (2 ports on the »Ultimate« version), 2 cash drawer connectors, an integrated audio system and additional VGA port for connecting a second display facing the customer. On the high-end version, you will also find a DVI connector and standardly integrated Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n optional on the »Easy« version).

Its 38.1 cm (15'') monitor uses an integrated touch screen and is like its predecessor, the well-known Glancetron 8805. It is continuously adjustable and its 1,024 x 768 pixel resolution ensures high-contrast viewing. Thanks to its large screen size, in most cases there is no need for a keyboard. Particularly the POS and hospitality environments will like the advantage of its grease-repelling display surface. You hardly see fingerprints, and dirt or particles are easily wiped off, leaving you with a clean impression, while guaranteeing you long-term performance at the highest level.

To expand the Glancetron 8805, choose between multiple peripherals. If you would like customers to keep track of their purchase, take advantage of the rear-sided LCD customer display with 2 x 20 characters. Its handling is very simple: just place it on the top of the housing at customers' eye level (either vertically or horizontally). If you want to draw customers' attention away from simple pricing and payment, then the rear-sided 26.4 cm (10.4'') TFT display is an excellent alternative for showing special offers and deals to animate customers to make additional purchases. In contrast to comparable POS systems, the Glancetron 8805's optional CD-ROM drive does not need to be connected as external hardware. In contrast, it is integrated into the system, perfectly space-saving and ergonomic. Additional peripherals, such as magnetic or stripe readers, a waiter lock, fingerprint or RFID reader (13.56 MHz) can be optionally ergonomically attached to the display, expanding its functionality many times over.
