On January 21st 1991, eight members of SAS squadron Bravo Two Zero under the command of Sergeant Andy McNab are airlifted to northwest Iraq. Their mission was to stop the scuds firing into Israel. During the mission two die of exposure, one dies of gunshot wounds and four are captured by the Iraqis. They are tortured and imprisoned until the end of the war.
