Opis ze strony wytworni:
Granum Sinapis, Umbrae Mortis and Dona eis: three spiritual works for mixed choir, the first two a capella, the third accompanied by an instrumental ensemble performed here with great sensitivity and with a perfect understanding of the artist's motivations by the Accentus choir and the musicians of Ars Nova, conducted by Laurence Equilbey. The mysticism of the Rhenish theologian Master Eckhart [Granum Sinapis], a reappropriation of the first Western Requiem by Ockeghem [Umbrae Mortis]: music purposely devoid of effect, the voice breathy, unhurried, encouraging introspection and meditation; a quest for the essential, the infinite. Dona eis contains complex part-writing and skilful rhythmic articulations; its apparent immobility is interrupted by convulsive peaks, in the form of lines by Olivier Cadiot from the opera Romeo & Juliette.
