REAGAN YOUTH along with THE MISFITS and KRAUT were the most influential early punk bands in the New York area. In their almost ten years together, they only managed to record one EP (Youth Anthems For The New Order). This was mostly due to drug consumption which also caused the bands final demise and death of singer Dave I. (Rubinstien).

"nothing new here just good Reagan Youth songs. Its Live songs that you can actually hear and get into. The rare stuff on this albums are just different version of songs. I love this album and heavily recommend it. Reagan Youth is a must have for any punk! The Linear Notes in the disc are cool especially when Dave interacts with the audience( New Ayrans) Do yourself a favor- and buy this! good shit. dave's high, as i would guessed, good recordings, not too much "peace" preaching (less than expected). all in all, good cd. get the collection first though. very good cd. has the classic concert sounds of a classic punk band. too bad that this band had to end but its good they got some concert noise onto this cd this is a great cd. this is real punk rock not the blink182 poppy made for mtv teeny bobber bullshit thats giving punk a bad name. every song on here is good and the live recording is good unlike a lot of live punk cds u can actually here the singer."
