When Germany seized Czechoslavia, they not only grabbed a country, but a very important line of highly effective light tanks. The Czechs had created the T-35 and T-38, which the Germans used in Poland, Norway and France. 1/3 of the German panzers in the Battle of France were T-38s which were better than the Panzer 1 or Panzer 2.

The T-38 has to be ranked as one of the greatest light tanks of all times. Of pre-war development, it continued to be used until the war's end. It's excellent chasis was used for field artillery, anti aircraft vehicles and anti-tank vehicles (Marder 1,2 and 3). It also served as the foundation of the Hetzer Jagdpanzer.
