The further misadventures of Mark and Jez - the complete series 4 of Peep Show!
1 - After getting engaged to Sophie "out of embarrassment", Mark continues to have doubts about the impending nuptials. He's as stoical - or cowardly - as ever though, and diligently performs his duties as a fiancé - growing a goatee beard and helping to choose gifts for the wedding list. It's also time to meet his prospective in-laws. But surely he knows better than to let Jeremy loose on them?
2 - It's the JLB annual conference in Kettering, and Mark's presentation to the board could secure him a senior position - or a demotion. Ahead of the ordeal, Johnson takes the stressed out Mark to a strip club to relax, but Mark struggles to know how to react when he's given a lap dance. Meanwhile, Johnson's taken a shine to Jeremy's girlfriend Big Suze, and makes Jeremy an indecent proposal.
3 - Mark's still plagued by doubts about marrying Sophie, so he joins a gym in order to avoid her. Unfortunately, his new personal trainer Matt puts him under constant pressure to confront the situation. Meanwhile, Jeremy discovers that his beautiful ex, Nancy, is working at the gym. He's desperate to get back with her, so when Nancy tells him she fancies Matt, Jeremy and Mark plot to rid themselves of their common enemy.
4 - Jeremy meets his hero Russell - aka techno musician "The Orgazoid" - and ends up working as his handyman. But Jeremy's job seems to consist solely of making Russell smoothies and swimming in his pool, and Mark's convinced there's a catch. He has an exciting encounter of his own to think about, though - at a school reunion he meets Sally Slater, a girl he used to fancy, and considers embarking on an illicit affair.
5 - As Mark's best man, Jeremy has organised a stag weekend. This consists of Mark and Jeremy on a narrow boat on the Shropshire Union Canal. It's cold, there's nothing to do, and Jeremy is instantly bored. Things become more interesting, though, when Jeremy meets a new girl, then does something unspeakable to her pet dog. Meanwhile, Mark is offered an exciting new job in India. Could this be his way out of his impending marriage to Sophie?
6 - It's the big day - Mark's getting married to Sophie. Mark, his best man Jeremy and an extremely hungover Super Hans set off in the car to the church. But even at this late stage, Mark's still wrestling with crippling doubts. Will his misgivings finally overcome the fear and potential embarrassment of calling a halt to the wedding? Or is Mark about to enter into a loveless marriage?
