I've read this book severaltimes and it's a shame that it wasn't more popular than it deservedto be. This would have made a blockbuster of a film too. I would putit right next to, if not above The Silence of the Lambs!

If you like criminology, TheSilence... and books of the genre, trust me, buy this book. You willnot regret it.
