The twenty-one pages of detailed road mapping feature highlighted locations of places of interest and a wide range of tourist venues and places helpful to the visitor. The twenty seven town plans also feature these tourist and visitor locations and this street map coverage includes: Ashurst, Beaulieu, Blackfield, Bransgore, Brockenhurst, Burley, Cadnam & Bartley, Christchurch, Downton & Wick, Everton, Fawley, Fordingbridge, Highcliffe, Holbury, Hordle, Hythe, Lymington, Lyndhurst, Marchwood, Milford-on-Sea, New Milton & Barton- on- Sea, Ringwood, Romsey, Southampton City Centre, Sway, Totton, Woodfalls & Redlynch. Each town plan has its own descriptive text relating to the general history of the area together with listings of places of interest, sport and leisure facilities and entertainment venues. Where appropriate telephone numbers have been included and each town plan has its own street index. The entries in the Guide to Places of Interest are listed in alphabetical order with the appropriate map symbol and the map or town plan reference to assist ease of location. Each listed place of interest has a short description either in this section or in the town plan section and each description includes, where appropriated, the telephone number. There are many other helpful lists with the name, address, telephone number and web site address of each facility. These lists include: Camping and caravan sites; pubs and inns; pharmacies; cycle hire shops; tea rooms, coffee shops and cafes; annual events; fuel stations; youth hostels; leisure facilities (including golf courses and horse riding centres); shopping centres and supermarkets. Also included is an index to places of interest listed under separate categories such as: Country Park, Industrial Monument, Museum etc. This list includes Tourist Information Centres for the atlas area. Both the road and street maps include the locations of fuel stations and safety cameras with their maximum speed limit. Numerous colour photographs of local scenes are a feature of this publication.
