Long expected, 4th album of May Result, has been finally released in the end of 2004. As the last one, this one also has been released for REX Records, this time in two different versions: as the normal CD and as a Limited Edition in 666 copies (contains video for “Slava to Our Horns in Blood”). Cover art was made by Jelena Bodrozic, formerly known for her work with The Stone, and differently from “Tmina”, this time cover looks great. Lyrics are all in Serbian, written with Veles Scrolls, and generally booklet looks very good.

The main characteristics of this album are very long song (the album is about 72 minutes long), memorable parts on keyboards (pretty similar to a Nokturnal Mortum), and a very good production for this genre. It is very hard to name one song that is the best here, maybe for their length and many changes in rhythm, but as my personal favorites I would mention “Pogrom”, “Kraljevstvo Mrtvih Gavrana” and “Noc Crnog Plamena”. As I already stated, lyrics are all in Serbian, and the main themes of the album can be seen from the album name (in English “Svetogrdje” means “Blasphemy”).

This album is the best Serbian Metal album last year, and the band’s best work in their career. The only weak thing here is maybe the length of songs, if only this album was a bit shorter it would be a true masterpiece. So, if you are fans of Sympho Black Metal, check this album, you won’t regret it.
