LVMEN Refleksyjny nastrój jaki tworzy Lvmen, wzbogacony jest niesamowitą ilością przeróżnych elementów dźwiękowych idealnie ze sobą współgrających. W ich muzyce słychać dużo bólu i gniewu, ale bez przesady i patosu. Całość dopełnia emocjonalny wokal, który w zależności od tempa utworu, zmienia swoje wersje z melancholijnej na brutalną, hardcorową. Od 1995 roku zespół zagrał kilkaset koncertów w całej Europie grając m.in. z takimi kapelami jak Fantomas /USA/, Botch /USA/ Cult of Luna /SE/, Shelter /USA/, Sabot /USA/, Sunshine/ CZE/, Thema 11 /CZE/, Starzy Singers /PL/, Something Like Elvis /PL/. Lvmen ma na swoim koncie dwa albumy (Raison D`Etre, Mondo) i EP-kę (Lvmen). W 2006 nakładem Day After Records ukazała się także antologia (An Anthology Of Previously Released Songs) zawierająca materiał z EP-ki i Raison D`Etre, a także utwory niepublikowane wcześniej. W tym samym roku został wydany najnowższy krążek Lvmen – Mondo.
Ich występy urozmaicą mroczne, psychodeliczne wizualizacje. Czeska grupa o brzmieniu z pogranicza sludge, post-hardcore i rocka eksperymentalnego, bywają także określani jako emocore. Tworzą długie kompozycje, pełne zmian tempa, wypełnione idealnie współgrającymi elementami dźwiękowymi, które budują jedyny w swoim rodzaju nastrój. Zróżnicowane brzmienia, od brutalnych po delikatne- dla wszystkich znużonych jednostajnością i oklepanymi schematami: refren, zwrotka. Lvmen to kultowa czeska kapela łącząca w sobie takie gatunki muzyczne jak sludge, post-hardcore i eksperymentalny rock. Ich muzyka to długie, rozbudowane kompozycje, w których spokojne, delikatne melodie, przeplatają się z ciężkim gitarowym brzmieniem. Mroczna stylistyka i częsta zmiana tempa utworów, zbliża twórczość muzyków do klimatu spod znaku Neurosis. It's unbelieve how the band managed to achieve such a large and loyal following - after all they left us with just 7 recorded songs and there was 4 years break between their new chapter. More than that, they anyhow managed to draw new people interested in their music and visual art, which is something most of the bands can only dream. It's fair to say they probably owe part to later bands like Isis or Red Sparowes who made similar sound so popular lately. "An Anthology Of Previously Released Songs" contains all songs from "Raison d'etre" album and self titled 12" which was previously available on vinyl format only and is out of press for a few years. In total 7 long opuses, tersely named "Lvmen 1.... Lvmen 7", over one hour of desperation. Long and groovy songs where Lvmen build dark, monumental sound walls and tear them down with atmospheric instrumental fields. Teasing keyboards, captivating female vocal and sampled sequences from 60's movies will leave you with ruffled nerves. That all is tied together by astonishing drummer. Brutal music blending the apocalypse of Neurosis, math-metal of Isis, desperation of Swans and nervousness of Slint' "Spiderland" album. Double LP comes with remastered sound and with whole new artwork as a 180g vinyl edition. Final, one-off limited vinyl pressing of both "chapter one" Lvmen albums in deluxe 2x LP edition. Ze swej strony dodam tylko, że wydawnictwo, jak zresztą wszystkie chyba pozycje DAY AFTER, wydane jest z wielkim pietyzmem i dbałością o każdy szczegół - szczegółnie o oprawę graficzną okładki. Do tego zwracam uwage, że nakład tego albumu jest juz prawie całkowicie wyprzedany!!! Płyta jest nowa, nie odtwarzana, nie słuchana, nie widziała gramofonu, W ORYGINALNEJ FOLII!. Polecam! Płyta jest oczywiście nowa, w oryginalnej folii. Mogę wysłać za pobraniem, wtedy koszt wysyłki wynosi 15,50 zł. A przy wcześniejszej wpłacie na konto wysyłka kosztuje 9,50 zł.
