This second volume in the Lost in Space: Season 3 collection picks up where Season 3, Vol. 1 left off, presenting the final nine episodes from the 1967-68 season, the show’s last. Standouts here include "Princess of Space," in which Laugh-In star Arte Johnson guests as a member of a space crew looking for a lost princess. One of the most interesting twists in the LiS journey occurs in "Time Merchant," featuring ‘60s TV regular John Crawford as the time-traveler Dr. Chronos, who reveals that when Dr. Zachary Smith (Jonathan Harris) stowed away on the Jupiter 2 and sent it off course, it saved them from a collision with a meteor. In "Fugitives in Space," Don West (Mark Goddard) and Dr. Smith are mistaken for escaped convicts and arrested. Although it's still a mystery as to whether the intrepid Robinsons ever get back to Earth -- the final episode ("Junkyard of Space") could scarcely be more ironically titled -- fans can at least delight in the extras included on the set, such as interstitial bloopers and 1995 interviews with stars Bill Mumy (Will Robinson) and Jonathan Harris.
