OPIS PRODUCENTA:

Learn how to write letters and numbers and create art as you help Mr. Pencil and his friends save the town!
• Works with the Leapster Explorer™ and LeapPad™ Explorer systems (sold separately).
• Help save the town by writing letters and drawing lines, shapes and objects.
• Create your own art using cool tools, colors, filters, stamps and effects.
• Become an animator by creating your own flip book.
• Teaches letter writing, number writing, shapes and art and drawing. Appropriate for children ages 4 to 7 years (grades pre-K to 1).

UCZY:

Number writing: Children learn to write numbers using proper stroke order.
Letter writing: Children use knowledge of letter names and shapes to write both uppercase and lowercase letters.
Shapes: Children learn to recognize the defining properties of shapes (such as a square having four sides of equal length and a triangle having three sides) and identify them in different rotations.
Art and drawing: As they draw, children develop spatial reasoning, visual acuity, and hand control, which later helps them write letters.

UCZY:

Creating with Technology: Being able use computers at an early age has opened up a whole new world for children. There are more opportunities for interactive learning. Children can also use computers to help with their homework, communicate with their friends and become technologically proficient.
World geography: Children may begin by learning about people and animals from different regions and eventually use geography as a tool to also understand places, cultures, and the world in spatial terms.
Basic science concepts: The study of science begins with something that children have in abundance: curiosity. Children observe, investigate and draw conclusions as they make discoveries about the world around them.
Real-world math: Real world math uses everyday examples to help children understand the practical application of math. Counting money, comparing temperature round the world and using fractions to double or half a recipe are typical real-world math problems.
Reading Fluency: Fluency is a reading term that means a child can recognize common words at a glance, and can read in meaningful chunks, or phrases, rather than reading one word at a time. Fluency contributes to the reader's enjoyment and comprehension of books.
