Płyta A Passion Play, opowiadająca w dwóch przepięknych suitach o podróży duchowej człowieka na tamtym świecie, zdobyła szczyt listy "Billboardu", ostatecznie pokrywając się w USA złotem.

Prezentowana wersja na dwóch płytach kompaktowych i dwóch DVD zawiera na nowo zmiksowany dźwięk w systemie 5.1 surround sound oraz w stereo do samej płyty, jak i kawałków z tak zwanych sesji w Chateau d'Hérouville. Procesem tym zajął się wielki fan Jethro Tull oraz lider uwielbianej w Polsce grupy Porcupine Tree, Steven Wilson. Na pierwszym DVD poza materiałem audio można także znaleźć klipy wideo do utworu "The Story Of The Hare Who Lost His Spectacles" oraz końcówkę filmu wykorzystaną podczas trasy promującej album A Passion Play.

Całość zamknięto w pięknym pudełku, w którym znalazła się też aż 80-stronicowa książeczka (w niej między innymi dokładna historia powstania albumu, opis sesji w Château d'Hérouville, tournée i przemyślenia Stevena Wilsona odnośnie remiksowania A Passion Play).
