Nigel Benson is an international best-selling author, published in 21 languages in 30 countries. His most popular book is "Introducing Psychology" (2007), originally published as "Psychology For Beginners" (1998) by Icon Books. Other books by Nigel Benson published in the same series are "Introducing Psychotherapy" and "Introducing Psychiatry". He has also written articles, e.g. for The Reader's Digest which were published in a collection called "Making The Most Of Your Brain" (2002).

"The Psychology Book" (2012), published by Dorling Kindersley (Penguin Group), was chosen for the "2012 Book Award" by The British Psychological Society for "excellence in psychological literature".
