RGBHV DISTRIBUTION AMPLIFIER / LINE DRIVER

The IN3252HR is a 1-In 2-Out distribution amplifier and line driver designed to amplify and split one RGBHV signal to two data monitors, data projectors, or other RGBHV compatible output devices.

 

500 MHz Video Bandwidth - The IN3252HR offers extremely wide bandpass characteristics, ensuring compatibility with analog video signals at any resolution and refresh rate. While specifically designed for RGBHV signals, the unit may also be used with RGBS, RGsB, component, Y/C and composite video signals such as NTSC, PAL, or SECAM.

 

Loop Out - a set of five BNC connectors located adjacent to the input connectors provides a high impedance passive loop-through signal. The loop output allows the input signal to be looped through one or more additional IN3252HR amplifiers to create a larger distribution system. The loop output can also be connected to a local monitor.

 

Line Driver for Long Cables - Capable of increasing signal voltage by up to 40%, the IN3252HR also functions as a line driver, allowing video signals to be sent down longer cables than would be possible without signal amplification and equalization. Actual maximum drive distance depends on the resolution of the input video signal and is largely dependant on the bandwidth of the cable used for input and output connections. High quality coaxial cables such as the IN7200-5 Ultra High Resolution 5-Conductor Coaxial cables are recommended for optimum performance on extremely long cable runs.

 

Individual Gain Controls for Red, Green and Blue permit gray scale adjustment and also offer signal boost to compensate for video signal amplitude losses caused by lengthy cable runs. Proper gain control adjustment will result in improved image contrast. The controls have an adjustment range of 0.7 (30% decrease) to 1.4 (40% increase).

 

Sharpness Control - A single control adjusts the sharpness for the RGB output signals. This control can be adjusted to enhance the appearance of high resolution video signals by increasing apparent clarity and boosting the visibility of fine details. The sharpness control also compensates for the high frequency loss occurring in long cable runs.

 

Advanced Controls Internal jumpers on the IN3252HR set the RGB input signal termination for 75 ohm / High Z and also set the unit for AC or DC coupling. 

 

 The IN3252HR compact design allows the amplifier to be mounted in a very small space. Featuring a durable metal case, the IN3252HR is well suited for audiovisual, simulation, medical imaging, industrial, military and commercial applications requiring a compact, rugged, high performance RGBHV amplifier/line driver.
