HIGH RESOLUTION VGA VIDEO INTERFACE

The IN2160 is a high performance dedicated video interface for VGA-type video signals including VGA, SVGA and XGA. The IN2160 is an excellent choice for applications requiring a high performance, low cost VGA interface which is very easy to install and operate.

 

15-Pin HD VGA Standard Connectors - The IN2160 has a 4' permanently attached input cable for easy connection to computers with VGA video cards. VGA monitors with 15-pin HD connectors attach directly to the buffered local monitor output. For installations where the interface must be located away from the source computer, the input and local monitor output cables may be extended as needed using IN8000 Series high resolution VGA extension cables.

 

Ultra High Resolution Amplification - Featuring 400 MHz video bandwidth, a buffered local monitor output, and high resolution coaxial cables for input and local monitor output, the IN2160 provides no-compromise performance, ensuring maximum image clarity with VGA video signals at any resolution.

 

Sync Polarity Preservation Switch - Some display devices depend on receiving VGA signals as RGBHV with unchanged horizontal and vertical sync polarities to ensure proper operation. A rear panel dip switch sets the IN2160 to output RGBHV signals with sync polarities intact or with negative going polarities.

 

Selectable Output Sync Format - The unit can be set for RGBHV, RGBS or RGsB output sync as required by the data display device and signal distribution system. A serration pulse removal switch is also provided to remove serration pulses when the unit is set to output RGBS.

 

Flexible Controls - A horizontal picture centering control allows for precise positioning of the image within the data display area. The monitor emulation dip switch allows the unit to emulate a VGA color monitor for installations without a local monitor.

 

The IN2160's compact size, rugged metal case and buffered local monitor output allow great installation flexibility since the interface may be placed at any convenient location adjacent to the source computer or at a distance. The unit may be easily mounted on a flat surface using the optional IN9127 mounting brackets.
