Higher Ground to tytuł jazzowego koncertu, który odbył się 28 listopada 2005 roku w nowojorskim Lincoln Center na rzecz ofiar huraganu Katrina. W czasie tego wieczoru na jednej scenie wystąpiła prawdziwa śmietanka wytwórni Blue Note. Niniejsza płyta zawiera najlepsze fragmenty koncertu, a wśród wykonawców pojawiają się między innymi Norah Jones, Diana Krall, Wynton Marsalis, Bette Midler, Art & Aaron Neville, Dianne Reeves, James Taylor, Cassandra Wilson i Buckwheat Zydeco.
