Wow!! Finally the great Face Up To It! from HERESY is released on cd. The remix and remastering of the original recording is a huge overhaul. The muddy production is mostly gone and the sound is very powerful. If you're into bands like Napalm Death, Intense Degree, Larm, old Agnostic Front you will love this. The packaging is excellent with lots of bonus songs from rehearsals for the Face Up To It! recording. This remaster does this excellent record some major justice. FACE UP TO IT!! Cross British punk, the lyrics of bands like Crass and Flux, the music of Discharge and others with American hardcore such as early DC hardcore (Minor Threat Void blah blah blah) mid 80s New York stuff (YOT Agnostic Front etc) and you get some idea of what you are buying here. For an American not used to hearing British hardcore the closest band to Heresy I would say were Life's Blood or Born Against (but in my opinion Heresy were a damn sight better than Born Against) Good lyrics and cool music, if you dont buy you are missing out. Heresy is one of the most influential UK Hardcore Punk bands ever to exist. From 1[zasłonięte]985-19 the band were one of the leading lights of the rapidly expanding UK scene. Heresy’s back catalogue has been totally re-mastered by Kalv Piper and Steve “Baz” Ballam from the band and “Face Up To It” is the second of a trilogy of discographies that Boss Tuneage has released (along with 1[zasłonięte]985-19 and 20 Reasons to End It All). This was the bands one and only album of which over 10,000 copies were pressed and sold throughout the world upon its release in 1988. This re-issue also contains a bonus 12 songs taken from pre-studio home demos/rehearsals recorded prior to the album which are the first time these archive recordings have been released. The album is almost unrecognisable from in its new, digitally re-mastered version sounding a hundred times better than it ever has done before – and the best it will ever sound! Compiled with extensive sleeve notes from Kalv from the band, the huge 16-page full colour booklet insert contains dozens of unseen photos, tour posters and lyrics.
