Will you unmask the culprit?
A crime scene, three suspects, one victim, and clues...guess who is the culprit, to accuse him or to deceive the other players!
Each player receives a ''suspect profile'' and 5 accusation markers. Three suspect profiles are placed upright in the center of the tablke, and one profile is placed face down, next to the other three. That's the victim of the crime. The goal is to unmask the culprit among the three standing suspects.
To start, each player looks at the number on his suspect profile and the one given to him by his neighbor. Players will then each in turn examine two suspect profiles from the center of the table and place an accusation marker under the alleged offender.
The three profiles are revealed at the end of the turn. The culprit is the highest value suspect, unless suspect number 5 is revealed. In this case, the culprit is the suspect with the lowest value. The accusation markers under the innocent are returned to their owners and turn over to their black side. Any stack of markers placedunder an accused who is innocent is given to the last player to have played a marker. Knowing that the game ends when a player has before him eight markers or only black markers, the first player has an incentive to bluff by placing his marker under an accused who is innocent so that the others will do likewise and end up with the most black markers!
