Former guitarist of the  late 60's/early 70's Atlanta group; The Hampton Grease Band.
This is Glenns 2nd solo release. Both were on Virgin Records, and I believe they were only issued in the UK, though recorded at Studio One, Atlanta.
The band on this LP was; Glenn Phillips (guitars), Bill Rea (bass), and Doug Landsberg (drums). There are also several other musicians guesting on several tracks, percussion, piano, pedal steel, bones, and sax. But for the most part, this is a three piece band, a guitar players wet dream type stuff!
There are 11 tracks on this LP, and not a bad one in the bunch. He's the kind of player, that it really doesn't matter what style of music he's into at that moment, he will always captivate the listener. Glenn is a true master of his instrument.
 Glenn makes great use of tone and distortion. A true American guitar master, predating Satriani, Morse, and Vai.
