"Les Exercicices Spirituels" recorded live on March 20th, 2010 by Christophe Chari at Festival Banlieues Bleues, Le Forum de Blanc-Mesnil, Blanc-Mesnil, France. "Hello Mary Lou" was recorded live on October 11th, 2008 by Sam Pluta and Jeff Snyder at The Kitchen, NYC. "Ikons" was recorded live on February 10th, 2010 by Steve Berkley at Conrad Prebys Concert Hall, University of California, San Diego, CA.

Kompozytor, naukowiec, geniusz komputerowy, puzonista, nadzwyczajny George Lewis jest jednym z najbardziej wyróżniających się muzyków, a "Les Exercices Spirituals" jest jedną z najwybitniejszych i najambitniejszych płyt, które wydane zostały po dzień dzisiejszy. Trzy kompozycje orkiestralne (dwie z roku 2010) wykonane zostały przez trzy doskonałe zespoły New Music Ensembles, na płycie gości między innymi zespół Ensemble Erik Satie.
