This is a beautiful photographic book of dogs and includes some very interesting articles about photography and quotations about dogs, in English, German and French. Despite the title I gave to this review of mine, these photos are not typical sentimental photos of various dog breeds, but rather are the work of great photographers, going back to the 19th century. I bought my copy new in a bookshop in Italy, and it cost 9.99 euros, so shop around for a good price. But it IS a lovely book that you'll want to both read carefully and to dip into from time to time. It's a great gift for a dog lover too!
