Clancy of the Overflow, My Country, Andy's Gone with Cattle, Five Miles from Gundagai, The Wild Colonial Boy, Mulga Bill's Bicycle, Waltzing Matilda and Click go the Shears are here amongst many other ballads about convicts, drovers, shearers, swaggies, bushrangers and strange animals. This is another essential reference for all school collections.

This wonderful book of Australia's famous and not so famous poets, with the likes of Henry Lawson, "Banjo" Paterson, Barcroft Boake, Caroline Carelton, and Dorothea Mackellar, to name some. I often return to this book to re-invigorate my muse. I would recommend this book to anyone who love traditional/classical poetry.
