In-Moulding
In-mould technology consists of creating an injection moulding of both an inner polystyrene liner and polycarbonate outer shell simultaneously, thus creating a lightweight, shock absorbing helmet to protect the skiers head.
VENTILATION SYSTEM
Every Carrera helmet features one of two ventilation systems, the active ventilation system or the forced air flow system, both of which constantly draw hot and humid air away from the head and replace it with a fresh air supply.

The Active Ventilation System is a 3 step regulator which allows the user to customize the level of airflow through the helmet.

The Forced Airflow System allows for constant recycling of the airflow through the helmet.
AFS - Adjustable Fitting System
Thanks to an adjustable anatomical support system positioned on the bottom-back of the helmet, it 's possible to adapt the helmet to the skier 's head for the up most fi t and comfort. The system is integrated internally in order to guarantee the highest of safety without hindering neck movements.
