The detective series Burke's Law ran on ABC from 1963 to 1965, featuring Gene Barry as Capt. Amos Burke, the suave millionaire Los Angeles chief of detectives who was chauffeured around to solve crimes in his Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II. The series featured stylish settings, strange twists on homicides, and legendary guest stars. The title reflected Burke's practice of providing wisdom: "A smart policeman never mixes business with vermouth -- Burke's Law." The opening of the show revealed the murder but not the murderer, as that was left for Burke and his fellow detectives, rookie Det. Tim Tilson (Gary Conway) and Sgt. Lester Hart (Regis Toomey), to discover. This set contains the final 16 episodes of 1964's Season 1. From the Studio
