The Asics GEL-Volley Lyte Men's Volleyball Shoes are a brand new, lightweight men's volleyball shoe for that features advanced technologies designed to decrease weight while retaining stability. The GEL-Volley Lyte Men's Volleyball Shoes weigh in at around 11 ounces, and feature an advanced exoskeletal upper design that provides lightweight medial-lateral support for long rallies. The GEL-Voiley Lyte also features Asics' GEL Cushioning System in the forefoot and rearfoot, which attenuates shock during the impact and toe-off phases, allowing for movement in multiple plains and offering improved cushioning and support.

The GEL-Volley Lyte maintains its light weight thanks to its Exoskeletal Asics logo stripes, which help provide reinforcement and support to the upper while enhancing breathability. The open mesh upper also provides for increased breathability, comfort and performance, by helping to quickly dissipate heat and bring in cooler outside air. The Men's GEL-Volley Lyte also features an advanced Trusstic System, which helps reduce the weight of the shoe while retaining the structural integrity and strength of the shoe. The NC Rubber Outsole on the GEL-Volley Lyte provides for ultimate traction on the court, thanks to its unique compound which contains more natural rubber content than traditional rubber.

The Asics GEL-Volley Lyte also features Asics Personal Heel Fit technology located in the heel. Personal Heel Fit provides 2 layers of memory foam in the collar, which molds to the foot and create an incredibly personalized fit. Its Solyte midsole offers a much lighter weight than traditional EVA and SpEVA midsoles, increasing comfort and performance
